Seminars and Workshops

Mr. Donofrio, president of RS&S has given numerous in-house training classes, workshops and seminars on Merchandise Planning and related topics.  He  has  also given numerous lectures, presentations, and seminars for major retail trade associations in the United States and abroad.  Mr. Donofrio developed a Merchandise Planning Seminar Series which he has been conducted 2-3 times a year since 1989.  The program includes Basic Planning Concepts, Comprehensive Planning Methods as well as Computer Aided Ordering and Data Mining.

Symposium/AMPA/Articles

Since 1996 RS&S has sponsored and coordinated the annual Merchandise Planning Symposium as part of the Retail Systems tradeshow. Mr. Donofrio helped start The Association of Merchandise Planning and  Allocation (AMPA) and has annually reported on the status and capabilities of Merchandise Planning and related systems.  Mr. Donofrio is currently on the editorial board for Retail Systems Alert Group Inc., a systems oriented trade journal. He has written numerous articles which have been published in major trade journals. He has authored "Merchandise Planning Systems, An Insiders Guide to Selection and Implementation" which was published by Retail Systems Alert Group Inc.
